Earthly Stars can provide assistance in the privacy of your home or a loved one. Our caregivers have training and experience in providing home health care. They have successfully passed extensive background checks, as well as being insured, bonded, and trained in CPR and First Aid.

Personal Supports CURRENTLY PROVIDING SERVICES!
Personal Supports provides all of the service responsibilities for Companion, Respite care, In-Home Supports and Personal
Care Assistance.
Companion Care
Companion Care allows individuals the ability to age in place without feeling lonely or unsafe. The care provider will perform several services for those who don’t require “hands on” care,but do need a little help to remain at home. Consist of nonmedical care, supervision, and goal-oriented activities provided to an adult when the caregiver is unavailable.

Respite Care (For Adults)
A service that provides supportive care and supervision to individuals when the primary caregiver is unable to perform their duties. This service is generally used due to a brief planned or emergency absence, or when the primary caregiver is available, but temporarily physically unable to care for or supervise the individual for a brief period of time.

Personal Care Assistance
Personal Care Assistance is a service that assists individuals with eating and meal preparation, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and other self-care activities of daily living. The service also includes activities such as assistance with bed making, and vacuuming when these activities are essential to the health, safety, and welfare of the individual and when no one else is available to perform them. This service is provided on a one-on-one basis. ​

Residential Habilitation
These services provide supervision and training that help the customer to acquire, maintain and improve skills related to activities of daily living. The services focus on personal hygiene skills such as bathing and oral hygiene; homemaking skills such as food preparation, vacuuming and laundry; and on social and adaptive skills that enable the individual to reside in the community. There are four types of residential habilitation:

Supported Living Coaching CURRENTLY PROVIDING SERVICES!
​​Supported living is an opportunity for adults with developmental disabilities to choose where, how and with whom they live. People receive personalized supports needed to maintain their own private home. Through supported living, individuals, even people with severe disabilities can receive supports to live in their own homes. Some of the responsibilities of a Supported Living Coach includes:
Teaches new skills
Assists with tasks and does things with or for the person
Coordinates community resources and natural supports
Activities include assistance with the procurement of housing, financial management and banking, cooking, cleaning, shopping, personal care, personal relationships and community connections to mention few. Supported living coaching may be initiated up to 90 days prior to moving into the home of your choice. Supported living coaches must also provide emergency response 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
